2025 was a year full of impact and generosity. Through CCM’s charitable Foundation, we supported over 50 organizations, donating more than $300,000 for causes relating to the Military, youth and women.

Team members across the nation stepped up to serve their communities. From raising money for team members impacted by the LA wildfires to participating in different community initiatives, we’re proud of the work CCM team members did to strengthen neighborhoods and uplift the communities we serve.

Read about just a few of the ways CCM team members gave back to their communities this year:

Supporting the Military

CCM’s Freeman Sawyer founded Heroes Ranch, an oasis for heroes of all abilities to enjoy the outdoors. Located 90 minutes east of Dallas, Heroes Ranch is home to 450 acres of hunting grounds and top-notch facilities ideal for hunting, fishing, camping, nature walks and many outdoor activities. Heroes Ranch is ADA-compliant and offers a complete fleet of adaptive vehicles, outdoor wheelchairs, ramps and specialized guns. The ranch is open to heroes of all backgrounds from the Military, Law Enforcement, Firefighters, First Responders, Gold Star Families and Special Needs Families. Through the generosity of sponsors and donors, individuals are invited for a memorable, all-expenses-paid, three-day trip.

The Veterans Lending Group hosted 25 members of the Marine Reconnaissance Foundation for an evening of fun on the Emerald Coast, followed by a food truck park dinner to thank them for their work in supporting Active-Duty Military Members and Veterans.

Tim Samuels’ team in Washington hosted their third annual Veterans’ breakfast for over 400 Veterans and their families. Over $11,500 was raised to support local Military organizations.

Supporting Displaced Children

In April, The Thomas Team spent the day at Christ’s Haven for Children in Dallas, Texas, a nonprofit providing trauma-informed, family-first care for displaced children, teens and young adults.

The Thomas Team assembled 12 birthday boxes tailored to different age groups, each including piñatas, gift wrap, birthday hats, birthday cards, bubbles, card games, puzzles, coloring books and candy.

They also contributed to Christ’s Haven’s Family Resource Center, which provides counseling, foster care services and support to families in Tarrant County facing economic challenges.

Later in the year, The Thomas Team built bikes for the local orphanage.

Perfect Pitch

In June, Kevin Giza of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania hosted the 12th annual Perfect Pitch baseball camp, free for any deaf or hard-of-hearing child between the ages of 6–17. These children learned baseball skills at a major league field, making memories that last a lifetime.

Fundraising For Good

The Carbon Team worked together to raise over $30,000 for the American Cancer Society.

Kelsi Arrieta and Karla Kyte of The Kyte Team hosted a summer solstice retreat, where they raised over $15,000 in support of Project I See You, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering women through homeownership.

Feeding Our Communities

  • Bergen County, NJ: The Forman Team spent an evening in January feeding over 200 members of their community at a local homeless shelter, working with Family Promise of Bergen County to empower families facing housing insecurity.
  • Ridley Park, TX: Team members from the Edwin Santiago team volunteered at Ridley Park Food Pantry to serve Thanksgiving meals to over 130 families, a new record for the food pantry.
  • San Antonio, TX: The Veterans Lending Group closed their laptops and partnered with the San Antonio Food Bank to assemble 4,500 meals, feeding underprivileged children across four school districts.
  • Cleveland, OH: Employees in Northeast Ohio volunteer monthly at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, assembling ready-to-eat meals, prepping produce boxes and contributing to programs for children and the elderly.

CCM Cares at HQ

The CCM Cares team has been busy in Cleveland, Ohio.

  • In March, corporate employees packed over 200 school supply and hygiene kits for children in Northeast Ohio.
  • Over 20 volunteers participated in Cleveland Animal Protective League’s telethons, fielding phone calls and taking donations.
  • During Pride Month, CCM teamed up with the LGBT Center of Greater Cleveland to pack over 250 gift bags for local youth attending Queer Prom, an event where teens can celebrate, be themselves and dance the night away.
  • In July, CCM participated in FOX 8’s Stuff the Bus initiative, collecting over 5,000 school supplies for teachers and students across Northeast Ohio, where 15 employees helped load school buses full of school supplies.
  • CCM employees across the nation generously donated toys to HQ for the annual Big Holiday Magic event, where 200 guests from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cleveland gathered to enjoy holiday magic, breakfast, a visit from Santa and a personalized gift thanks to your generosity.
