CCM Employee Honors Veterans in Hometown

Updated January 28, 2026

Read how branch manager Timothy Samuels honored Veterans and Military Members in Kitsap County.

When Timothy Samuels vacationed at Lake Coeur d’Alene, Idaho with his family in 2022, he noticed advertisements for a local Veterans breakfast, free of charge to Active-Duty Military Members and Veterans. Timothy was inspired to bring the event to his hometown in Kitsap County.

With proximity to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Naval Submarine Base Bangor, the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Keyport Division and a high population of Veterans, Timothy knew that a sponsored Veterans breakfast would serve many in his community. This year, Timothy hosted the second annual Veterans breakfast, partnering with local businesses to sponsor and pay for the event with an additional $3,500 donated to Mission 22, a nonprofit that connects Veterans with support, resources and programming. This year’s event served over 280 people in his community, over 50 more than the same event in 2023.

Timothy plans on making the breakfast an annual tradition.
