November is National Veterans and Military Families Month, an opportunity to honor brave men and women who selflessly protect our nation and our rights. We are proud to employ nearly 200 CCM Veterans and have even more team members with a child or spouse in the Military.
We look forward to showing our gratitude throughout the month.
Cleveland Browns Salute to Service Game
As the official mortgage partner of the Cleveland Browns, CCM sponsored the 2024 Salute to Service Game. As part of the pre-game ceremonies at the November 3 game, CCM Veterans and their loved ones held the on-field flag with other Veterans across the region. Check it out here!
In a special on-field moment, CCM gifted an Ohio Veteran with a service dog in partnership with K9s For Warriors. CCM partnered with K9s For Warriors earlier this year after learning about the life-changing programming they offer to Veterans after transitioning from the Military to civilian life. Super Bowl Surprise
CCM surprised Veterans across the U.S. with an all-inclusive Super Bowl experience through Browns Give Back. Three Veterans from Jacksonville, Philadelphia, and Las Vegas were surprised at their local Browns Backer chapters. These deserving Military Members were chosen for their service, community involvement, and love for the Cleveland Browns. Watch and engage with the video on YouTube:
Gratitude Activation
CCM volunteers are heading out to a Veteran-operated urban farm to lend a hand around the property. Rid-All urban agricultural center is a 501c3 that provides education and programming for local Veterans. CCM volunteers will be working alongside Veterans and Active-Duty Service members for a day of service and giving back to the community.
Veterans Day at the Zoo
As the official mortgage partner of the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, CCM is excited to offer free admission to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on Sunday, November 10 for Military Members and Veterans. A photo ID will be required for free entry. Accompanying family members receive a special discount as well.
We’re also hosting a Veterans Day 5K as part of the Cleveland Metroparks Race Series on November 10. Proceeds will go to Folds of Honor, a nonprofit that provides life-changing scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled Military Members.
