Community Support

The CCM Foundation was formed in part to support 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations that address the pressing needs of women, youth, and Military Members.

These guidelines outline eligibility for financial support and the needs for which funding may be allocated. Support is awarded at the sole discretion of the CCM Foundation Board of Directors based upon the following guidelines and requirements applicable to Section 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations under the Internal Revenue Code, as well as availability of funds.

Eligibility 

  1. W-9 and 501(c)(3) verification must be included in all proposals and emailed to [email protected]
  2. Must be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and not classified as a private foundation 
  3. Must be based and serve communities in a market with a CCM presence 
  4. Must be aligned with CCM Foundation funding priorities of women, youth, and Military 

Requirements 

  1. A key component of the CCM Foundation’s support program is understanding the effectiveness of the initiatives the financial support helped to fund. For this reason, the CCM Foundation requires all organizations to submit a report with the following information no later than one year after receiving and activating funding:
  • Short, candid statement by the Executive Director of the organization outlining the strategic impact of the grant including lessons learned and unexpected outcomes or insights if any 
  • Description of actual spending of the grant funds 
  • Outline of the quantitative results of the grant against the goals stated in the original application 
  • Statement of the number of lives improved by the project or service and a description of how that number was calculated 

2. Applicants are required to allow CCM to use grant award winners’/organization’s likeness in post-grant reporting and as part of CCM’s digital platforms. All content will be shared with the receiving organization for review and signoff prior to posting. 

The Foundation does not support: 

  • Organizations that do not fall within the Foundation’s support pillars (women, youth, military) 
  • Political organizations 
  • Religious organizations 
  • Endowment building or debt reduction drives 
  • Any organization or program that discriminates (in written policy or in practice) against any person or group on the basis of: 
    • Age 
    • Political affiliation 
    • Race 
    • National origin 
    • Ethnicity 
    • Gender 
    • Gender identity 
    • Disability 
    • Sexual orientation 
    • Religious belief 

Selection of Recipients  

The Board of Directors will award grants based on an objective determination of need and alignment to the CCM Foundation pillars.
